This week I will be travelling to Tampa, Florida to participate in the annual CRMUG Summit. This will be my first time attending this event and I am really looking forward to it. If you are involved with using, developing or administering Dynamics CRM, and you are not doing anything else this week and happen to be in Tampa, come check it out!

Along with attending sessions and hoping learning a thing or two, I will also be participating in a couple of sessions.
On Thursday afternoon at 4:30pm, room TCC21. I will be a contestant on X(RM) Factor. Various folks from the CRM community will be talking about their favourite CRM/XRM tools. I will be pitching CRM Bookmarklets. These are simple JavaScript powered browser shortcuts that will allow you to perform some magic within Dynamics CRM. I discovered these techniques a few years back and use them almost daily. This is being organized by long time CRMUG community leader and MVP; Adam Vero.
Friday morning at 10:15am, room TCC20. I will be presenting a session on how to get started using Dynamics CRM Portals. If you have a CRM connected Portal requirement, and not sure how to get started, then I hope this session will help! By the end, you should be able to be well equipped to setup and portal and being to configure some powerful portal applications.
I look forward to meeting new folks, reconnecting with colleagues and finally meeting “in person” various MVPs and CRMUG community members with whom I have interacted with over the years. I might actually owe beer to certain people… hopefully I can settle some of those debts!
Cheers
Nick
